Raggedy Santa

I'd like you to meet my new Raggedy Santa Doll and Snowman. He measures approximately 20 inches tall. He has a body made from aged osnaburg fabric that has been aged with a coffee mixture. His hands have been needle sculpted and his elbows and knees have been seamed so he can be posed.

Raggedy Santa

Santa is wearing an adorable outfit made from red flannel. It is trimmed with a soft fluffy fabric that is sewn on the hem of his coat, pants, sleeves and hat. He has a belt made from vintage style gold tinsel garland.

I've painted his socks antique white then painted on red stripes. His black boots have been painted and sanded then embellished with rusty bells and gold tinsel. I also tipped his hat with a large rusty bell and surrounded it with garland.

Raggedy Santa

Santa has a beard made from white sheep's wool that has been needle felted and hand sewn in place. I've stitched on his black button eyes as well. His nose and mouth have been painted with acrylics, then sealed.

Santa is holding a snowman rattle made from painted muslin that has been furmly stuffed, then topped with a black top hat made from cotton fabric. I hand gathered three layers of ruffles for his collar and secured it in place with a little bit of glue and red vintage style tinsel garland. He was then mounted to a red painted wooden dowel.

Ice Princess

Introducing “Ice Princess”; she is my newest doll, just off the sewing table! I am very proud of how she turned out!

Ice Princess is 30” tall and has a body made from aged osnaburg cotton fabric with seamed knees and elbows, needle sculpted fingers and a needle sculpted nose. I’ve painted and sanded her head and neck then painted her eyes a beautiful blue and given her lipstick red lips.

Her hair is made from creamy sheep’s wool that I needle felted in place with a little glue, then topped with a cone hat that has been trimmed with vintage style gold tinsel tiny ivory flowers and a gold ball ornament.

Ice Princess

She is wearing a gorgeous gown and pantaloons made from pale blue cotton and hand gathered tulle trimmed with antique style cotton lace. I’ve made her a fancy gold jacket (non-removable) that has been attached with a decorative button and decorated with vintage lace.

I’ve painted and sanded her ivory shoes and embellished them with organdy ribbon bows.

Ice Princess

I’ve given Ice Princess a glittery gold snowflake ornament attached to a bottle brush wreath and finished off with ivory flowers and an organdy bow.
